Dehydrated chicken feet are a healthy and safe dog chew. The texture of the tiny bones in the chicken feet is rather brittle. When chewed, the bones will crush, but not break into pointy objects. Campfire Treats’ dehydrated chicken feet are fully digestible.
Never give any cooked, boiled or fried chicken bones to your dog. The high cooking temperatures give chicken bones a hard, glass like structure, which may break into sharp and pointy splinters. These splinters may cause serious injuries to your dog.
Depending on the size and diet of your dog, we recommend giving your dog between one and three dehydrated chicken feet per day.
I have a 15 pound terrier mix with a penchant for a chew project, and these are great. They are small enough that I can give them to her once or twice a week, and they don't interfere with her feeding schedule by making her too full. Also, they do not have an unpleasant aroma like so many other meaty chews.
