Current openings:

Meat Cutter / Butcher

Part time: 30 hours/week

Job Duties

• Trim and cut meats, poultry and fish
• Clean and sanitize tools and equipment
• Load and unload freezers, refrigerators and dehydrators
• Maintain clean, safe and sanitary condition of kitchen, food storage and preparation areas at all times
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned

Requirements

• Work experience in a butcher shop, meat department or restaurant is desired, but not mandatory
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for at least 4 hours
• Valid California food handler’s certification
• Must have a source of reliable transportation

Copywriter

Freelance: 2,500 to 7,500 words per month

Job Duties

• Write between one and three unique blog posts per month
• Ensure that the blog posts are well researched and include all relevant information to position Campfire Treats as the subject matter expert for a given topic
• Optimize all blog posts that they will rank well in Google’s SERPs

Requirements

• You are an experienced copywriter with a focus on canine health and nutrition
• Your writing style is semi-scientific, interesting to read and your articles are well researched. Articles should be written for an audience with a Flesch-Kincaid readability score of 45 to 65
• You are experienced in writing for SEO, including key-word research, competitive analysis, text structure, link building, etc.
• An education as a canine nutritionist, veterinarian or a comparable field of study is a plus
