We only work with premium meat, poultry and wild-caught ocean fish – all from U.S. farms and fisheries. We will never use any additives, chemicals, fillers or preservatives. Everything in our products is 100% natural.
Animal Welfare
We believe that all animals should be treated with kindness and respect. This also includes the farm animals raised for meat, for which we bear a special responsibility. They, too, should be treated humanely and live in a healthy natural environment suited to their species.
To keep us and our farm and fishery partners accountable to the highest standards, we work with independent certification organizations like Certified Humane, the Global Animal Partnership (G.A.P.) and the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). Campfire Treats is also the world’s first food company (human or pet) in full compliance with absolutely all requirements of the Better Chicken Commitment, a global campaign to improve the welfare of the billions of chickens raised for meat.
This means happier and healthier animals, which in turn means more nutritious and flavorful meats.

All birds are allowed to roam freely and have outdoor access. They are fed a nutritious, 100% vegetarian diet and are raised without antibiotics or added hormones.

Absolutely all turkeys we source are animal welfare certified by Certified Humane and are raised in an environment where they can freely roam. The birds are fed a healthy vegetarian (often even organic and non-GMO) diet and are never given any antibiotics or hormones.
Humanely Raised Pigs From American Family Farms

100% of the pork we source is certified by Certified Humane and is fully compliant with California’s Proposition 12 (The Farm Animal Confinement Initiative), which bans the sale of meat from farms using gestation crates. All animals are raised outdoors or in deeply bedded pens without any crates. They are never given antibiotics or growth hormones.
Sustainably Wild-Caught Ocean Fish

We only work with ocean fish, which is wild caught by small U.S. fisheries. Our cod comes from the pristine waters of Alaska and is Marine Stewardship Council certified. Our anchovies are caught in the clear coastal waters of California.
