    Last updated: July 22, 2026

    Campfire Treats, LLC (“Campfire Treats,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or make a purchase from campfiretreats.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

    Our Site is hosted on a third-party e-commerce platform that provides the technology allowing us to sell our products and services to you.

    1. Information We Collect

    Information you provide to us. We collect information you give us directly, including:

    • Contact and account details — your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and any account or password information you create.
    • Order and payment information — the products you purchase and payment details. Payments are processed by our payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers.
    • Communications and content — messages you send us, product reviews, blog comments, survey responses, and newsletter or SMS sign-ups.
    • Marketing preferences — your choices about receiving communications from us.

    Information we collect automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, and other interactions with the Site (“Usage Data”).

    Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from our service providers and advertising and analytics partners, and from social media platforms when you interact with our pages or ads.

    2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

    We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

    • Strictly necessary — required to operate the Site, process your cart and checkout, maintain security, and remember your session. These are provided by our e-commerce platform and cannot be switched off.
    • Functional — support features such as product reviews, our rewards program, subscriptions, returns and shipping protection, accessibility tools, and blog comments.
    • Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Site. We use Google Analytics together with an additional privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool.
    • Advertising and targeting — used to deliver and measure advertising, including conversion tracking, audience measurement, and retargeting you on other websites and platforms, through advertising partners such as Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and Pinterest.
    • Email and SMS — our email and SMS marketing platform supports our communications and helps us recognize returning visitors.

    You can manage your choices as described in “Your Privacy Choices and Rights” below.

    3. How We Use Your Information

    We use personal information to:

    • process, fulfill, and deliver your orders, and manage subscriptions, returns, and rewards;
    • process payments and prevent fraud;
    • provide customer service and respond to your inquiries;
    • send marketing and promotional communications (email and SMS) to those who have asked to receive them, which you can opt out of at any time;
    • personalize and improve the Site and your experience;
    • deliver and measure advertising, including retargeting;
    • understand how the Site is used through analytics; and
    • comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

    4. How We Share Your Information

    We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information as follows:

    • Service providers — companies that perform services on our behalf, such as our e-commerce and hosting platform, payment processors, shipping and fulfillment providers, our email and SMS marketing platform, and providers of product reviews, rewards, subscription, returns, accessibility, and similar services. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
    • Advertising and analytics partners — such as Google, Meta, and Pinterest, which help us analyze Site usage and deliver and measure advertising, including retargeting. See Section 5 for how this is treated under US state privacy laws and how to opt out.
    • Legal and safety — when required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Campfire Treats, our customers, or others.
    • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

    5. Targeted Advertising, “Sale,” and “Sharing”

    We use advertising technologies provided by partners such as Google, Meta, and Pinterest that share certain identifiers and activity with those platforms to show you relevant ads and measure their performance. Under California and other US state privacy laws, this may be considered “selling” or “sharing” personal information, or processing it for “targeted advertising.”

    You have the right to opt out. To do so, use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of every page, which takes you to our Data Sharing Opt-Out page. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out request.

    6. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

    • Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share — use the link in our footer to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. We honor GPC signals.

    US state privacy rights. Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Florida, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — for example, if you sign up for our newsletter — you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Where legally required, we ask for your consent before sending marketing or setting non-essential cookies. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our legal bases for processing include your consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, and compliance with legal obligations.

    7. Email and SMS Marketing

    We send marketing communications only to people who have asked to receive them, through our email and SMS marketing platform. When you sign up through our newsletter form, we confirm your subscription (double opt-in). You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by replying STOP to a marketing text.

    Order confirmations, shipping updates, and other transactional messages are not marketing. We send them using the contact details you provide when placing an order.

    8. Data Retention

    We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

    9. Data Security

    We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Card payments are processed by payment providers that comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), and we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. Our payment processors securely store your payment details, in PCI-DSS compliant systems, to process your orders and any recurring subscription charges. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    10. Children’s Privacy

    The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
